    Heateor’s social sharing is inserting itself into an Ultimate Blocks Post Grid excerpt space, which it really shouldn’t!

    I do not have social sharing for excerpts enabled, if you are wondering. Only standard social sharing.

    I’m not sure when this issue arose, I haven’t seen it before and this issue isn’t happening with every instance of Ultimate Blocks Post Grid that I have – and I have about 10 instances. It’s just on this one page.

    I have tried to debug this myself, but nothing I change on the Ultimate Block Post Grid block nor in the Heateor config has helped ??

    Otherwise up until now, Social Sharing has been perfect! Thanks, but please can you have a look at this? You’ll see the post grid at the bottom of the text.

    Can you post a screenshot showing where this Ultimate Blocks Post Grid excerpt space is at your web page?

    Well, no I can’t post a screenshot actually, but try loading it with this link, the anchor tag should position the Post Grid block right in your browser window.

    You can add following CSS in the Custom CSS option to get rid of those icons.

    article#post-2951 div.the_champ_sharing_container{display:none}

    OK, thanks for the work-around.

    Do you see it as an issue with Social Sharing that you can fix, or is it a problem with the Ultimate Blocks Post Grid?

    Plugin uses the_content WordPress filter to integrate icons with the posts and pages. This filter is sometimes used by the plugins like Ultimate Blocks Post Grid and that’s why the icons are integrated with the blocks generated by these plugins too. We will see if there is any way to detect if a post/block is generated by a plugin.
