Social Tracking with GTM4WP

  • Hello,

    This is in reference to the site https://honestlyhealthyfood.com/.

    I am trying to track the following for the site:
    – Social Network follows for the social icons on the top and the bottom of the page
    – Social Actions (facebook like/unlike & twitter actions) on the home page
    – Social sharing for the blog pages

    I tried creating the following DL variables:
    gtm4wp.socialAction
    network
    socialAction
    opt_target

    Then set up a UA social tag to fire when event equals gtm4wp.socialAction.

    But It doesn’t seem to be working at all.

    Am i completely missing something here.

    I make a humble request to help me as I am stuck and cannot proceed further with the GTM implementation for this site.

    Hi Rushdhi,

    There is a bug in the Twitter implementation in my plugin but I think I have now found the reason.

    If you are able to upload individual files to your hosting please contact me at duracelltomi.com so that I can send you a patch to test.
