Social (Twitter, Facebook) not really working?

  • I’ve enable the “Social (Twitter, Facebook)” option under “Lightbox settings”. Now I see two icons below every image, one “tweet” icon and one “like” icon. Once I click “like” a check mark appears in that icon. But my activity protocol on facebook doesn’t show this like at all, so it obviously didn’t reach facebook.

    Is this particular function in this plugin working for anyone?

    Haven’t checked if “tweet” works as I am not on twitter.

    I am using Simple Facebook Plugin to embedd the FB stream of a page in the sidebar (it has also a like button that is permanently displayed and works).

    I wasn’t aware that the social function in this lightbox plugin depends on a separate social plugin. Especially since a twitter buton is shown in the lightbox and I haven’t installed any twitter plugin.

    BTW, I am using the Virtue theme. It comes with a “Virtue Toolkit” that has a “Virtue: Social Links” widget. But I am not using this “Virtue: Social Links” widget (because it can display only icons, no stream), just the one mentioned above (SFP).

    @earwolf: It is the last option, below “Keyboard shortcuts”. Running Version 1.2.3 of the Responsive Lightbox.

    Hello!

    I am trying to install a Facebook Plug in on my site but it doesn’t take it, I’ve tried with all posible plug ins so I don’t know what else to do. The theme I’m using is Virtue, anybody knows what the problema could be?
