    My site is blog.nrajesh.com

I realized mail chimp was not picking social comments from FB. So I tried removing and adding the connection in the plugin page.

As soon as FB login happens I got this message:
Warning: Attempt to assign property of non-object in …<PATH>/blog.nrajesh.com/wp-content/plugins/social/social.php on line 2285

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in …<PATH>/blog.nrajesh.com/wp-content/plugins/social/social.php on line 2288

It maybe possible due to new restrictions in FB for apps to use https or something similar. Please check

  • I got exactly the same issue. I just can’t connect my default facebook account to the plugin. I also have a test account on facebook, that one was authorized immediately.

Reading your comment, nrajesh, I played around with the https settings but that didn’t change a thing. The only differences I see so far are the languages and development apps. It also made no difference wether the account was set up in English (US) locale or another one. My default Facebook account (the one I want to connect with the plugin) has a Facebook app connected to it and the test accounts doesn’t. I’m not sure if that makes any difference.

Some help on this topic would be great!

    Update
I should have read the rest of the forums first. This one helped me solve the connection issue.
