Hi, I have installed POST SMTP on several websites and it works charmingly!

However, recently I have been trying to install it on a WP multisite, with Enabled global settings and Allow user to load saved options checked on Network Settings. Then I went through the Setup Wizard and found out that the socket I usually chose(SMTP – gmail.com:587) is not given at the Connectivity step. What would be the causes and how should I do it to recover the options?

Also, when I tried using gmail.api with the same Google OAuth steps using my gmail account, after I done the setup flow it remained unconfigured. What can I do about it?

  • Hi @weijin,

If you cannot connect to smtp.gmail.com, your host has a firewall issue. Please speak with them about this as something on their servers/network is blocking access. You can verify this in the Connectivity Test tool.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim
