SoftwareApplication Schema

  • Hello.
    I currently shifted to this plugin for Structured Data .

    As per the discussion in this support page, I understand star ratings (rich review snippets) in google search results is no longer supported for BlogPosting, Article etc.

    I am planning to use SoftwareApplication schema which is supported by Google.
    For this purpose, using the above plugin, I want to change my default schema for Post as SoftwareApplication.

    Then I want to enable your plugin (currently deactivate) using BlogPosting.

    Will this display the star ratings in search results again.

    Hi!

    If your concern is only about stars rating in search result, no it will no show stars in serp.

    I’m already working to integrate SoftwareApllication (I don’t think it’s the right choice for your blog)
