    Hola,

    Hello @crammarc,

    Thank you for reaching out!

    Hello,

In the Woocommerce orders, there is an internal note that specifies the payment method (“paid by”).

This note, it seems, is always in English, regardless of the language setting we have.

Some management programs sync with Woocommerce to register orders, for example. In those cases, they take that field and it always appears in English.

It might be interesting if that text is translated into the corresponding language.

    Thank you and greetings.

I understand you have a custom order management system that’s adding a note to your WooCommerce orders that can’t be translated, correct?

You can try checking if the string can’t be translated with something like Loco Translate.

For more detailed instructions, please check: Translating WooCommerce

For further assistance, please get in touch with the author of the order management system you’re using.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello @babylon1999

    Thanks for your response.

“I understand you have a custom order management system that’s adding a note to your WooCommerce orders that can’t be translated, correct?”

    That’s not correct.

The management system I’m using, takes from woocommerce this:

    “notes”: ” Paid by …”

As all Woocommerce is translated to the configurated language, why this field is not translated?

    Hi there @crammarc ??

As all Woocommerce is translated to the configurated language, why this field is not translated?

Thank you for bringing this to our notice. Just to clarify, what is the payment gateway in use, when you are noticing this? Is it one of the core payment options, or otherwise?

Furthermore, can you please share a screenshot of what you see at the Order Notes section of the screen? That will help us understand the issue further. Here’s how to make a screenshot:

    Looking forward to your response.

    Hello, @anastas10s

It happens in all payment gateways: core payment options (bank transfer BACS) ans others (paypal, redsys…).

I cannot see it at Order Notes. It is in the code: “notes”: ” Paid by ppcp-gateway”, for example.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello @babylon1999

It is the WooCommerce notes field. I show you a screenshot of how it is reported by woo:

Thank you, @anastas10s . Finally I have chosen to hide that text. I prefer that than installing a new Plugin. Thanks anyway for the help. All the best

    Hi

Finally I have chosen to hide that text. I prefer that than installing a new Plugin. Thanks anyway for the help. All the best

Thank you for your update. I understand your decision to hide the text instead of installing a new plugin for translation. It’s always best to keep your website as streamlined as possible.

I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. However, if you ever have more questions or issues in the future, don’t hesitate to kick off a new topic.

We’d be thrilled if you could spare a few minutes to leave us a review at ?? https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews.
