• I’ve been using WP-Optimize on a client’s website for a few months now and I’m overall really satisfied with it. If there was just one thing I could think of to improve, it’s that it’s almost too much of a power tool — there are many options available and it could perhaps benefit from some more hand-holding.

(For example, the note/description under “Optimize database tables” checkbox is “Tables will be optimized (66).” Now, I’ve got years of experience with database management and I know exactly what MySQL table optimization entails — and I know that the “66” there refers to the number of tables in my database, because I’ve looked it over independent of this plugin — but I don’t feel like that’s a helpful note to the kind of person who doesn’t already know what they’re doing here.)

In general I recommend this plugin. I just also recommend you do your research outside of the plugin before you begin using it. ??
