• This plugin works like advertised. And it is pretty easy to use. I’d live to see an advanced version that allows individual products to be customized. As is, this is a global feature. But for free, I guess I can’t complain

The only issue I have is where they placed the settings. I search for five minutes trying to find the settings. Not in Woocommerce settings, not in product settings… no… the settings are in the “customizer”.

If there is one thing I hate about WP it is the stupid customizer. I dread using it… it’s a useless tool for newbies with cheap themes. And placing a Woocommerce plugin in there just doesn’t make sense. Why not in the Woocommerce menu?

    Hi Steve,

    Glad to hear it helps.

Your feedback is valuable and we’re taking it into consideration for future updates. We though the Customizer is suitable for customizing / adding content. The live preview feature helps users adjust their content before publishing. WooCommerce moved some of the customization options inside the Customizer as well, as it make sense to work on customizations via the Customizer. I can understand a different personal preference and I respect that. Probably in a future update, product / category specific hooks would be part of the category / product editor screen.

Thank you for using HookMeUp. Best of luck with your projects.

    Cheers,
    Adrian.
