Hi, I have a woocommerce site that connects to an epos system via WP’s REST API… to update stock levels etc.

While the plugin is active, the epos is returning “Sorry, you cannot list resources” and fails to connect. When Solid Security is Deactivated, the epos connects with no problems.

The epos providers say “this error has been seen many times due to a rewrite command in htaccess.”… there are a lot of iThemeSecurity rewrite rules in the htaccess file. But we do not know what part of Solid Security is blocking the epos…

    THEWEBSITE.com/wp-json/wc/v3/orders

The only way to get the epos to connect is to deactive solid security completely, as adding the epos’ IP adresses to the firewall rules do not fix the problem

    Hi @rockso, happy to help!

Solid Security does have some features that could potentially block another plugin’s functions. Kindly try adjusting the below one at a time and see if one of them can allow epos to work:

    • Disable the Default Ban List in Security > Settings > Features > Firewall > Ban Users – Default Ban List
    • Disable the Disable PHP in Plugins in Security > Settings > Features > Advanced > System Tweaks – PHP Execution
    • Enable the XML-RPC in Security> Settings> > Features > Advanced > WordPress Tweaks – Enable XML-RPC and allow Default Access to the REST API

If the above does not help, you can also try deactivating the currently active Solid Security features one at a time.

    I hope this helps.
