• I am in love with the Bouquet Theme and have been using it on my blog since I started it. However, just today the Soliloquy Slider plugin has stopped working. The loading icon stays and the slider will not load. I’ve visited the Soliloquy developer site to troubleshoot the problem and this is what it said:

Loading Icon Gets Stuck & Slider Doesn’t Load: This will occur when there is an error loading the Soliloquy script.

    Resolution:

Check for a plugin/theme conflict. If this resolves the issue contact the support of the buggy plugin/theme to resolve the issue. (I am contacting you!)

    (1) Disable all other plugins. (did this)
Activate the Twenty-Sixteen theme. (did this)
Check if the issue you’re experiencing is resolved. (it was resolved. switching back to Bouquet, once again, the sliders fail to load, so it obviously is a theme/plugin conflict.)
If this resolves the issue, reactivate the theme and each plugin individually and check after each activation if the issue is reproduced again to identify the specific conflict.

    (2) Flush out your browser’s cache. Sometimes browsers generate invalid cache pages that don’t serve Javascript correctly and this can resolve the issue. (I did this and it did not fix the problem).

What is curious is that everything has been working fine up until today. I have done nothing that would change anything, other than post blog entries as usual. The suddenness of the onset has me wondering if there was some change or update in the theme which has caused this. It is very frustrating. I want to keep using the theme, but if something’s broken and won’t allow my sliders to show, I’ll have to change themes. PLEASE HELP!

    Hi there!

The last update to Bouquet was on June 30, 2015, so there hasn’t been any change on the theme end.

Your sliders are also loading for me when I visit your site (thanks for the link!), so I’m wondering if you might be experiencing a local browser issue.

Do you see the same problem in another browser, or from another computer or internet connection?
