Solution for RSS News Aggregator site?

  • The plugin is great, but not caching the 6+ RSS feeds I aggregate is slowing down the initial loading time. Is there a way to cache RSS feeds, while having them upgrade automatically every X hours with this plugin? Is this a feature you may add, as a cron job integration perhaps?

    Hi,
    I don’t understand. Are you talking about the RSS feed of your website or of other website? This plugin does not cache RSS feed of your site i.e. /feed/ to ensure it always provides the most updated data. Moreover it’s a URL that normal Users won’t visit – only bots will. So, it won’t hurt user experience.

    Now if you are talking about caching RSS feed of other websites, well that’s simply not possible.
