    Hi there,

I’m looking for a solution to be able to publish additional product-specific content on a WooCommerce/Elementor product page without having to use the product data tabs. I’d like to be able to add additional content sections, either above or below the product tabs.

The product pages share a single-product page template so the only way I can currently add product-specific content is via the data tabs and custom tabs.

The only other options I can think of are to make a product-specific product page template for each product that needs the expanded content; which makes me worry about page speed if calling to multiple page templates or to hard code the product pages somehow.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi there,

If you’re using Elementor Pro to create custom single product pages, why not use conditional visibility of those elements? A plugin like this should help with that: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/visibility-logic-elementor/

That way, it’s a single template but with sections on the template that’s visible based on the product viewed.

If that’s not feasible either, the only other option would indeed be to use the product tab settings or unique templates for each product.

    Hi @riaanknoetze

Thank you for sharing that plugin. This is very close to what I need. From the description on the page that you shared it seems that the plugin can only show/hide content based on user role, i.e. visitor/logged in/

Is there a way to add containers to a product page template that can be tagged to show/hide based on what product is being viewed?

So for example, I could add several new sections to the main product page template but tag them by product title to only display based on the specific product being viewed.

Since this is a third-party product that isn’t sold on the WooCommerce.com marketplace, I wouldn’t be able to confirm whether or not the plugin allows you to add conditional containers. For the best, expert-level help, please reach out to their developers to confirm or ask in their forums.

    Thanks!
