Some categories not showing up on menu

  • Hello!

    I have been looking for an answer to my problem everywhere but could’nt find anything…

    In my travel blog, voyageursgourmands I have several categories which are countries. Those countries are displayed in my menu.

    When clicking on “Italie” or “Belgique”, everything is ok, and the articles related to this category are showing up.

    But, I don’t know why, for “France” and “Etats-Unis”, this is no longer working. It was ok until few days, and from no-where, they disapeared.

    I have tried to disable all plugin, and reactivate one by one, it didn’t fixed the problem…

    Yes they are some articles in those categories. And once upon a time they were showing properly…

    Is there anything different when you compare the articles in the empty categories with the one’s that show in their categories ?

    I have checked everywhere….The only difference i have noticed, is that on the article, when I choose the categories, for some there is written “principal”, and for others there is not….
    I have changed the categories to try, but there is no difference on the display on the site….

    I would recommend you to switch to default TwentySeventeen theme and check.
    Also, could you let us know, what theme are you using now?

    Ok I will try that from home Daniel. (I am on my phone now)
    My theme is simple Mag, and I am using the latest version 4.7.

    Daniel, I have managed to access my blog from my work ??
    I have changed for the other theme, and there, the categories are well displaying…
    France is showing the France articles, Etat-Unis the Etat-Unis articles etc…

    I have checked every option of my theme I can’t find anything wrong…

    Glad to hear that it works. The best option would be to raise this query to your Theme author. I found that Simple Mag theme is from Envato and you can visit the Theme page to raise a support ticket.
