    Hello,

So I have WP Mail Logging working with WP Mail SMTP. We are encountering an issue where some emails seem to be sent with no problem nor error message on the plugin but when checking the mail inbox, they have not being received.

So our clients fill a form and it is sent to us. On WP Mail Logging it appears that it has been sent without problem, but when we check our inbox we haven’t received said form.

We don’t know if someone else has encountered this problem, so we created this new topic.

    Best regards.

    Hi, @kreativamarketing!

    Thanks for getting in touch.

Please kindly know, that the main purpose of the WP Mail Logging plugin is just to log all emails sent from your WordPress site. And it looks like you have issues with email deliverability.

To fix the deliverability issues, you need to properly configure the WP Mail SMTP.

The WP Mail SMTP plugin is responsible for sending emails from your website. It routes all emails to the mailing service (chosen mailer), and the mailing service is responsible for the email receiving.

So, the WP Mail SMTP plugin just bridges a connection between your WordPress site and your email mailing service (mailer).

For example, you have a form on your website -> the user submits it -> sending of the notification email about the submission is triggered -> this email goes to the WP Mail SMTP plugin -> WP Mail SMTP plugin routes this email to the mailer -> mailer will send and deliver it further.

When you have trouble getting emails or getting them into the “spam” folder, such an issue could occur if the needed DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) are not added to your sender domain, or set up incorrectly, and/or your email deliverability score is low because previously you were sending not authenticated emails or you are blacklisted.

You need to make sure that you’ve followed all the steps in the WP Mail SMTP plugin guides on how to set up a mailer.

Also, you can check your email deliverability score here. And you’ll get a report with issues and ways to improve.

If everything is set up correctly, please, reach out to your chosen mailer support about the status of those emails. They’d hopefully be able to help!

    Kind regards.
