    I am using shortcode on dozens of pages to deliver lists of work by author and category and widgets on the front page menus to list category posts.

    e.g. for shortcodes:
    [catlist name=”christian living”,prophecy,prayers,”bible-sharing”,”HEALING & DELIVERANCE”,foundational,”Gospel A-Z” orderby=date order=des numberposts=10000 author_posts=”Ken Dewey” numberposts=200 pagination=yes instance=1000 ]
    and
    [catlist id=1 numberposts=100000 orderby=date order=desc numberposts=250 pagination=yes instance=1000 ]

    These are the two which are used for the basis of all others.

    Some have been around for almost 10 years

    What surprised me is that it is coming up on ‘comment moderation’ – and I certainly have no need for your shortcode there.

    Regarding our comments and comment moderation, other than changes to the WP core comment text, we are using standard WP comment formatting and standard WP comment moderation. We have no plugins to enhance comment moderation – other than Akismet Ant-spam.

    Thanks for reporting this. I’ve identified the cause, it was in the admin panel of the widget. Shortcodes are fine.
