when clicking on the event on 23rd of october (“Die Geheimnisse der K?rpersprache – Dein wahres K?rperbewusstsein (Hechingen)”) this leads to a 404 error.

i guess the reason is that a trailing slash (“/”) is added which is in turn then changed to its URL-encoded version (“%2F”).

this only happens on some events but not all. i have not found any difference between the events working and the ones not working.

    help needed

    I’m sorry to hear that!

It’s not generally a problem we hear about so I wonder if a conflict might be at work…

Can you run through the steps in the above article and see if you can isolate any conflicts?

    Thanks!

well i am simply not willing to do this. the currently used theme depends upon various plugins and i do not want to break any of this just to “test” something. only alternative would be to backup everything and create a copy of the site to try this out. much work.

i managed to fix the broken event links simply by changing the permalink associated

    Glad it’s all sorted ??

I do appreciate some amount of work can be required to test for conflicts and generally recommend that this is done on a testing or staging site to avoid disruptions on the live site.

At any rate, I’m happy to hear you fixed things.
