Some features seems doesn’t work (Display popup once per user and Dismiss Ad)

    I’ve done several tests over the last few days.

    My plugin version was 3.8.6 and I just updated this morning to 3.8.7.

    Definitely the “Enable Dismiss ad” option makes the pop-up no longer work. More than that: after this option was checked, the only way I could make the pop-up reappear was by cloning an old one (or creating a new one). Seems that unchecking the option again and saving, followed by clearing browser and website cache (via WP Fastest Cache) don’t work.

    Furthermore, checking the “Display popup once per user” option in Limitation Users had no real effect for me.

    I’m sending some images of this: I went back to unchecking the options that don’t seem to work.

    What I need is:

    1. The popup will be shown to the user (any role, visitor or not).

    2. After the user clicks on the popup or closes it, the popup no longer appears for a period of time (ideally I tried for 3 days. But since that wasn’t working, I tried Dismiss Ad too. No success either).

    What options should I try to make that happens?

    Thank you for the topic.

    We checked and noticed that you enabled the Display popup once per user option. This is why the popup is opened once for you, and then, it is not being opened anymore.

    You need to either enable the “Display popup once per user” or the “Display once per session”?option.

    Also, we checked and noticed that you are using a Cache plugin.

    So, clear?all?the?caches?and check whether the issue persists or not.?
    Make sure the?cache?is?excluded?on the page where the?given popup?is enabled.

    After?clearing?the?caches, please try to check the case with either the?Incognito?mode?or?another browser/device.

    Hi. I checked the “once per session” with 4320 minutes and the “once per user” as well.

    I notice that it working fine for Users (i.e. who is logged into my website). But the popup still appearing inifinity times for visitors.

    Also, I checked the “Enable dismiss ad” option and this definitely is making the popup don’t show for no one (logged Users or Visitors).

    Thanks for your response.

    We checked and noticed that the cached HTML from the day before is generated once the guest enters your site.

    So, please go to the WP Fastest Cache plugin and exclude the following URL from its settings:
    https://eluneonline.com.br/criancas-prematuras-bilingues/

    Then, enter your website as a guest and check the case again via different browsers or in Incognito mode.

    Then, let us know whether the problem has been solved or not.
