    I have this warning in my WP Control panel in the Site Health Status:

    Critical Issue:
    Some files are not writable by WordPress:
    wp-load.php

    I have Twenty-Twenty-one theme installed. The message showed up there recently, after I switched to this theme, but not sure this is related to the theme.

    Based on previous replies, it would appear the hosting provide had an error in their third-party WordPress installer and/or updater.

    Since this was posted in the support forum for the Twenty Twenty-One theme, but doesn’t actually have anything to do with the Twenty Twenty-One theme, and since resolutions have been posted above, I’m going to close this down.

    If you run into the issue posted here, please try the resolutions posted above. If those don’t work for you, please post over at https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/#new-topic-0
