Some icons are not displayed with the new update of WP 5.2.4

I have run this plugin on WP 5.2.4 with no apparent problems. So it seems most likely that there is some factor other than or in addition to 5.2.4 that results in the unexpected behavior you are experiencing.

Another clue that this is the case: if “some” icons are displayed and others are not, that almost certainly means that there’s some interaction happening with your theme or other plugins that are are loading conflicting versions of Font Awesome.

The “remove unregistered clients” option on the plugin settings might clear that up for you. If you haven’t already enabled that option, give it a try.
