Some Instagram posts are not imported

  • Hello,

    I was travelling for four weeks and posted a lot on Instagram. When returning home I noticed that not every Instagram post was imported to my WordPress site. Some were missing, I would guess every fifth of sixth post.

    Unfurtunally I cannot import these by hand as it tells me, that no new posts were found. Also there seems to be no way to import missing posts or one specific (maybe by entering the Instragram code (which is part of the URL of the post) somewhere.

    Any idea?

    I am happy to help with fixing this and I would be also happy to have a feature which allows to manually import specific older posts.

    Some pro features are in the works, including the the re-import feature, but until that is available, the best I can suggest is to delete all the imported posts that came AFTER the missed posts, and it should re-import correctly.

    sir if i have 1000 post then what to do? I don’t think so the re-import feature is best way and also its a minor issue,if any customization needed then let me know so that i can apply it on my plugin files.I have suffering lots from same issue.i hope you will help me,thanks

    I’ve tried re-importing my posts and that no longer works. Working with the latest plugin version on WP 4.8.2
    Any ideas would be very welcome, since I’ve not deleted 4 months worth of posts and I would really like to have them back ??
    The solution was to revoke access on Instagram + delete user and re-make the user.

    Deleting them plug-in from within WordPress still does not work, this for the purpose of debugging and reinstalling application. Had to manually delete the plug-in from the directory.
