Some issues: Switched from Disqus to wpDiscuz

  • Hi,

    on search for an alternative for Disqus i found your plugin.
    First impression: it’s not slowing down my site – great!

    But i have some important issues now:

    1. When someone comments and i click to answer the comment, nothing happens. No window to answer the comment. The answer button just doesn’t work.

    2. Suddenly there is a huge space between the article and the comments section. When you read the blog post you don’t even see that there is a comments section.
    Also between the part “write a comment” and the written comments themselves ther is a huge spacing. How can we fix this?

    Please disable JetPack Comments, it adds its form in wpDiscuz comment form area. Then navigate to Dashboard > Comments > Settings > Forms admin page, edit the Default Form, then save it and do Ctrl+F5 on front-end.

    Did it and it’s possible now to answer a comment. Thanks!

    But still there are two black lines above the comment section and a big space between the comments and the article.
    Do you know how to fix this?

    Maybe you can help me also how to style the border around the first comment field? Because there are some white lines i don’t want to have.

    This comes from your theme, it doesn’t have any relation to wpDiscuz plugin, just remove this and reset css cache:

    Ok, thanks. Will do.

    My hopefully last question and then i’m all set uped …
    How is it possible to get our author pictures into the comment section, when we answer someone.
