some kind of attack? xml-rpc wordpress 2.3

    i was reviewing our Apache 2.2.2 log when i found this entry:

    127.0.0.1 – – [01/Nov/2007:19:41:04 +0100] “POST / HTTP/1.0” 404 278 “-” “Incutio XML-RPC — WordPress/2.3”

    Im finding some information about this httpd log entry because i don’t know what it do or what is happen.

    Some have a little idea about?
