After installing the latest update to Goodbye Captcha, some users are telling me they’re unable to comment on my blog or use the Fast Secure Contact form. After submitting a comment, they just get the standard “an error occurred” message. One mentioned that her comments were blocked if she entered her website URL in that field, but would go through if she didn’t fill in the website field. I do not have the option to hide that field checked in my settings. The page where they’re trying to comment is at: https://www.jenpowell.com/blog/easter-cheer-and-round-2-goals/

This is a great spam-blocking solution, so I would love to fix it. I’m a developer, so am willing to modify php if that would help. TIA for any suggestions.

    Hi,
I was testing your website and I was able to post 2 test comments and to contact you through your contact us page.

Thanks for checking this Mihai. Your tests came through. That is what’s strange about this issue; some people can comment but others can’t. I should have added this: their IPs show up in my reports as blocked, with “Token Expired” (I asked them to send me their IPs). Anything else we can try?

It seems to be fixed with the new update.
