Some links are not being created?

    I have several keywords and phrases setup and work fine. But there are some that are not being converted to links. I have set the number of times to convert to “-1” – meaning covert multiple times on a page.

    Any ideas…?

    Hey there,

    what happens if you set the number on those links to e.g. 1? Is it then linking?

    I checked the function of -1, but it worked as expected in my tests.

    It works but just not on the page that is it diverts to.

    E.g. the phrase “test phrase” shows as a link everywhere, except on the content the page it is diverting to.

    I guess it makes sense not to link to itself – if that was your thinking. I guess it’s still a link though. Not sure now what would be better; linking to its own page or not – it’s got me thinking.

    Exactly. From the user’s point of view, a link to a page on which the user is currently active, does not make sense. This is why sites don’t link to themself.
