    Fancy permalinks: /%postname%/
    WP_CACHE define: Defined (true)
    URL rewrite: Enabled
    Network mode: No

I can confirm that modules are installed on the server
I also get a problem with this web site that nothing can’t be written or deleted from the page_enhanced folder so cache can’t be cleared but the other domain on this server directory is ok and I can clear the cache.
I think that there is somehow a problem with Permissions or ownership of a file on this if I try to delete or do something I get Permission denied.

    Thank you
    Kind regards

    Hello,

Not detected means they don’t use mod_php mode, so they probably use php-fpm. We cannot detect Apache modules in that case, but that doesn’t mean it is not installed/active.
If you change Page cache method to disk or any memory-based caching does the issue persist?

Thank you for the mod answer.
    Regarding the Permission problem:

There is only two option Disk: Basic and Disk: Enhanced but it is the same whatever I use still get

FTP credentials don’t allow to delete folder /home/user/public_html/wp-content/cache/object

Something wrong with that permission and no matter what I try even 777 doesn’t help

For now, I change Cache folder to Cache-old and the system creates a new one where for now is no errors and it sims to work but in public_html/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced there is the only .htaccess file without domain directory and I already browsing the page from all sort of browsers and computers in the office also with incognito mode.
    Is that normal?
    Thank you
    Kind regards.

Hi Marko, now the domain folder shows in public_html/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced now I know that this is not a problem of W3 total cache but I can’t delete old cache folder is there any simple solution to this?

    Thank you

    Hello,
Have you tried contacting your host to see why you can’t change permissions, and when you do you are still not allowed to delete any folder?

    Hello,
it is my VPS but all I found when trying thro cpanel terminal I get something like this
jailshell: cd: /public_html/: No such file or directory

but the only files are in old cache folder which I can’t edit or delete thro cpanel file editor all others are OK.

    Just to confirm,
The issues you had are now resolved except you cannot delete the old cache folder?

    Thread Starter DavidWooF42

    (@davidwoof42)

True, and as I can read that some other users on this forum have similar problems it sims that in some cases W3 total cache changing the owner of the file and the cache folder is not usable anymore. The only thing I did was rename the cache folder in cache-old that was allowed but anything in this folder was not.
Then the W3tc create new cache folder and everything was OK.

Now problem is that I don’t know how to delete this old cache folder even if I am the owner of this VPS on whm/cpanel there are no such cases to find how to repair or delete this.

    Kind regards
    David

    Hello,

You can try to restart your server or open Cpanel ticket for this issue.
