• Hi there,

This is a strange issue that I can’t seem to figure out. The site has the correct set up to force non-www and http into the preferred format of https://www. and this works for most pages. However, there are a range of pages where you can remove the www. and it redirects to the homepage.

The htaccess file is set up correctly, there are no regex redirections in place and nothing else I can see that could be causing this mistake.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

  • Have you tested the pages using web-sniffer.cc or tools.pingdom.com?

What pages are these tools returning?

If they are working correctly, then it’s a caching issue in your browser.

If not, then there is a redirect somewhere …

    1. Look in htaccess
    2. Look for redirection plugin
    3. look in Cpanel – redirects
