Some odd features showing on my Event page ?

  • Hello,

    I just started my first event with this plugin.

    Despite trying to change the “fields” and set up my datas as recommended, I still see some odd features on the actual event page.

    After the event descriptiion, it shows: “by”

    then a ticket icon followed by:

    ?“4444”

    then it reads: “Paid”

    I did try to remove the “ticket” field, I tried to change the organizer’s name as seen on the picture down below. I also tried to remove the “paid/free” feature..
    None of those seem to work.
    Also, I did add some custom fields, as seen on the event’page. But I was unable to see them on the EDIT PAGE. How can I set prices on those custom fields?

  • Edit the event and scroll down until you see Bookings/Registration and look at the price. It probably says 4444.

    What about the other issues addressed on my previous message? I still see a “by” and a “paid” feature that I cannot modify so far.

    I did remove the “paid/free ” feature in the field form, but this “paid” tag is still showing… I am guessing the ” _event_ticket_options” meta key is still displaying despite removing that feature ..

    To add custom fields to the events edit page go to Settings->General and click on General Options then in Event Attributes add something linke this: #_ATT{MYCUSTOMATTRIBUTE}

    You will then be able to specify the value of this custom attribute on the event edit screen and you will be able to use it in all the places where placeholders can be used. Here’s the documentation on placeholders: https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/placeholders/

    To change the appearance of your single event display page go to Settings->Formatting and scroll down to the Single Event Page and there you can change the way it gets displayed (e.g., you could remove the price and here you could use your custom attributes).

    I am sorry but there is no

    “Settings->General and click on General Options then in Event Attributes”

    possibility on the SETTINGS tab

    also, there is no

    “Settings->Formatting and scroll down to the Single Event Page” possibility on the SETTINGS tab

    Please let me know how to proceed.

    Go to the Settings tab and then click on General Options and then scroll down until you see Event Attributes:

    Then click on the Formatting tab and click on Events:

    Next scroll down until you see Single Event Page:

    Here you can modify the format of the single page output.
