Some pages not working on site after plugin updates

    I haven’t posted on a forum before so sorry if I do this wrong.

    I just updated a couple of plugins, I am not sure which unfortunately (a mistake I know) and now my landing/home page is not loading correctly and neither is https://www.fasciato.co.uk/about-us/

    Main page is fine: https://www.fasciato.co.uk/projects/

    Can any one help me, I am not sure what to do. Let me know what other information you might need?

  • The plugin causing you issues seems to be Ultimate shortcodes. Make sure the plugin is still active as that’s normally the first reason why shortcodes stop working.

    Thank you, I have just tried adding this but it does seem to solve the problem.

    However, I have just noticed that I am missing Ultimate Addons for WPBAkery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer) which I had previously installed.

    When I try adding this plugin again I get this message:

    Installing Plugin from uploaded file: codecanyon-dJbd4ppC-ultimate-addons-for-visual-composer-wordpress-plugin.zip

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. /services/webpages/f/a/fasciato.co.uk/public/blog/wp-content/plugins/Ultimate_VC_Addons/

    Plugin installation failed.

    Do you think this could be the problem or is this a different issue?

    It was the Ultimate Addons VC plugin which had had a failed update. I deleted in file manager and reinstalled, now all is working fine.
