Hi there! I’m running into an odd issue. Some of the pages I’ve created have the transparent header (before scrolling), while others have the header show the scrolled state immediately.

I looked at the code and found the following differences. On the one that is working properly (showing transparent state), the first div under the header has this attribute: data-transparent=""

Then three div levels down from that, there is: data-transparent-row="yes"

On the pages that don’t show a transparent header (before user scrolls), those two data attributes aren’t showing up. I’ve walked through the Customizer settings and the page settings and I can’t find any place to control this. The Blocksy page settings show where to disable the header, but not to use or not use the transparent state, so I’m at a loss. Any suggested you could give would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hey @kelderic,
Actually this is not an issue, you have full control on which pages to display the transparent header and on which ones to display the default state instead.

Please check your transparent header conditions – see this video.

    Hope this helps.

Nevermind! After I posted this, I figured it out. It was under Display Conditions in customizer. There were some inherited specific pages, probably from the started site. I switched the conditions to site-wide.

This leads to a suggestion: There are a bunch of options on the Blocksy page options, when editing a page, which are defaulted to Inherit from customizer. I’d suggest having an option there for “Sticky Header Transparency Functionality”, with an Inherit, Disable, or Enable option.

Yep, I was typing as you responded. (Really appreciate the quick support btw!) It’s all working correctly now. Hopefully this should be the last request for a bit, lol.

Thanks again for the amazing theme!

    Hey @kelderic,
Regarding this one ” I’d suggest having an option there for “Sticky Header Transparency Functionality”, with an Inherit, Disable, or Enable option.” – I think you are right, we will try to give it a thought and maybe implement it.

    Cheers.
