    This plugin works to allow some pages use HTTPS and not others? My site has SSL but I want to use only on the login page.

    WordPress has a WP_FORCE_ADMIN constant that you can define in your wp-config.php file, which will enable SSL for all of wp-admin, but not necessarily the front-end.

    It’s a bad idea to enable it only for wp-login.php (but not the rest of wp-admin), because your authentication cookies will be transmitted unencrypted, which is just as bad as sending your password unencrypted.
