• Hello,

I have a strange problem that started few days ago:

I am the administrator of this Hebrew website: https://www.lab.org.il
A few days ago when I entered the website, I’ve noticed that the slider and the header image disappeared with all of the right-side categories!
but it wasn’t the only problem, when I tried to see whats happening in my admin system, I logged in, but instead of the dashboard I saw nothing but a blank page.

Fortunately, I always keep a good working backup of this website on my machine, so I tried to re-upload the public_html directory from my FTP client.
then, I entered again, and everything started to work fine, even the admin system…
at this point everything was fine… but in the next day when I entered the website again, same weird problem returned!
I tried to turn off all of my plugins, and then turned them on one by one, but it didn’t helped…

then I started to re-upload the directories to the FTP again, but this time I uploaded them one by one.
when I uploaded the directory “cache” to this path:
    lab.org.il/public_html/wp-content/themes/yoo_neo_wp/cache
    the problem was solved.

I looked inside “cache” and found this file:
    “xml-2135bbbdca332bd1ea8f591310543b50.php”
    (21.2kb) which makes the problem.

this file changes for some reasons every few hours and I don’t know what cause it to change.
the proper size of the file is 26kb (in my backup).

    heres few snapshots:

Any help will be very appreciated!

  • By default WP does not have any caching function that I know about. Based on the directory structure for the cache directory described above, it must be your theme that is caching content.

A?re there any settings to turn it off? What theme are you using?

Try posting in the theme’s support forum.

Hello and thank you for your help!

The theme that used in this website is Neo 5.5.14 by YOOtheme

And I don’t see any setting about caching…
I never had this before and I never changed anything that related to this problem…

    What can i do?

    Thanks again
