    Hi,

I have more PayPal orders than before on my shop and since that, I see some orders status not correctly updated after my customer payment.

I had a lot of orders left “on hold” so I checked and my IPN config was not done on the PayPal account. So I updated it and I now have another problem. (don’t know why it was working correctly on some orders and not on others as the IPN was not set but, whatever)

Some (1 out of 10, maybe) orders are canceled like the shop never received the “Payment ok” from paypal. But as the IPN config is correct, I don’t understand why.

    Any idea ?

    Thanks !

    Hi there,

What version of PayPal are you using for your site? Knowing this will help us direct you to the proper forum for support.

If you aren’t sure what PayPal you are using, please share a copy of your site’s System Status and we can help figure it out.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.

Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hi,

I don’t have any PayPal plugin, it’s the PayPal gateway integrated with Woocommerce 3.6.4.

    I’m on WordPress 5.2.1

    Thanks

    Hi

Thanks for clarifying! It sounds like you are using PayPal Standard (included in WooCommerce core).

These steps can be taken if IPN is not updating your orders. While working on these problems you may want to prevent pending (unpaid) orders cancelling automatically so you have a chance to manually confirm payment without IPN. To do this, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory and set the “Hold Stock (minutes)” option to nothing (leave the field empty).

Please also note, you can check the IPN history page for more information on IPN deliverability here, after logging into your PayPal account: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-ipns-history

If you require further assistance with this, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Tickets. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.
