Some Plugin feature not working on block editor

    Two problem i encounter, because its the feature that i use.

    • Ai Engine Suggest tittle and suggest excerpt is broken. It will not suggest anything and just put “Nothing to display.” and “Close” button.
    • AI wand “Correct text”, “Enhance text”, etc does nothing. It refresh the text, but nothing changed. No correction, no enhancement, no shorter or longer text.

    Oh, AI Copilot do work. I try to create intro with it, and it properly output intro as expected.

    And i just try it on another site that still use wordpress version: 6.5.5, the AI wand and AI engine suggestion still not working. So, i think its not the new wordpress 6.6 that did something. I haven’t writing much this month, so i cant exactly tell when the problem really start. Maybe the last plugin update, or the update before, i guess.

    Still repros for me and I’m not on a block theme.

    Have been experiencing this across browsers, after clearing cache and disabling all plugins, and also across various sites of mine.

    In short, there’s definitely something wrong here that needs fixing.

    I have the same issue, clicking generate excerpt from a post returns nothing to display.

    If I use the AI Engine | Content Generator, generating an excerpt works.

    I have elementor pro installed and in the post editor it has is own button underneath saying generate with AI. I wonder if this is causing a conflict?

    @snoop23 i did see your post, and at first i was about to add my find there, but i’m afraid that it’ll be buried down and the dev can’t properly see it. If you already try without any other plugin, its safe to say this bug is from the AI engine plugin. Its normal, and i have encountered bug with this plugin before, report it here, and the dev did fixed it.

    i dont use elementor, so its definitely not a plugin conflict. Its a bug. @snoop23 apparently already try without any other plugin. So its definitely from the AI engine it self.

    I just hope the dev took notice of this and try to fix it as soon as possible.

    nvm, i just found there is new update (two days ago) to the plugin. And its fixed the problem. Props to jordy and all the dev team. Thanks for fixing it really fast as usual. i’ll mark this resolved.
