Some Post excerpt not showing up

    Hi there!

    You need to provide more details. Site URL? What do you mean with “theme shortcode” and how is it related to your posts’ excerpts? I need some more information in order to be able to help.

    Hi,
    Below is my explanation:
    Post 1 contain text only without html tags at the beginning. below is the example:
    Testing, testing, testing….

    Post 2 contain html tag at the beginning of the text. below is the example:
    <div class=”content”>
    Testing, testing, testing….
    </div>

    And when i add in the {summary}
    Only post 1 excerpt is shown, while there is no excerpt in post 2

    When retrieving the post excerpt WPP removes shortcodes and some/all HTML tags (depending on the options you have enabled/disabled).

    To prevent this, try adding a custom excerpt in the Excerpt field (without the shortcodes and your HTML tags). WPP detects when a custom excerpt is set and uses it instead of trying to build one from your post content.
