Hello. I followed the instructions in ‘Adding fields to a taxonomy term’ to add a custom image field to my categories. The process worked, but a lot of my posts and subcategories disappeared, both from the front end display on category pages and from the category RSS feed, while still appearing in the whole site RSS feed and whole site page of posts. Deactivating other plugins and changing the theme made no difference. In fact, deleting the custom field and deactivating this plugin also made no difference, but I replicated the problem by restoring an earlier database backup and repeating the process. Can you advise please? Advanced Custom Fields would be a very useful plugin for my site if it wasn’t having this effect. Thanks.

Adding to the post above: the problem only occurred once I uploaded the first image to the custom field.

    Hi @annabelt

Thanks for reaching and sorry to hear about the issue, unfortunately, this is not something we’ve seen in the past. It’s possible that the problem is related to your specific setup, would you mind sharing more information on the setup through our?contact page?so that we can have a closer look?
