Some posts & categories not AMPed, most are

I have a website which has about 90 articles when I installed AMPforWP. After configuring everything (I configured for posts and categories only, mobile redirection) I noticed that MOST of my posts have AMP versions but some do not. MOST of my categories have AMP versions but some do not.

I finally tracked down to the categories without AMP versions are ones with posts in them that don’t have AMP versions.

I took one post that does not have an AMP version, edited it and discovered it had HIDE AMP so I switched it to SHOW and updated the post. But when I discovered that there still wasn’t an AMP version I re-edited the page and it still showed HIDE AMP.

WHY?
