some posts don't expire to draft

Hello,
I posted this same issue over 4 weeks ago and no response.
I still have the issue!
It’s quite random – the (same) post, if I update the expiration date weekly, will sometimes expire and other times not.
It’s not just one post either – it happens on at least 20% of posts that should expire.
Can you help before I search for a new plugin?
