    Hi there,

I’ve just started using google adwords and I’m trying to setup a remarketing tag on my website but when I use Tag Assistant I get an error: “Some products are not valid”

I’ve tried to find a solution to this already but have been unsuccessful. I’m not 100% sure what the error means. I assume it’s something to do with the product id’s.

I am using the Woocommerce Product Feed plugin to send my products to google merchant center so surely the product ID’s should be the same.

I have noticed that in merchant center the ID is prefixed with: woocommerce_gpf_ Whereas when you hover over the product in woocommerce you just so the product ID number. Perhaps this is the issue? If so how do you remove the prefix.

Thank you and look forward to hearing you’re responses

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi

Unfortunately the Google Tag Assistant doesn’t work properly anymore with checking the products.

The ecomm_product value in the HTML source code of your product pages needs to match the IDs in the Google Merchant Center.

    Those can look like woocommerce_gpf_12334.

Just make sure of that and you should be fine.

Also the Google support might be able to tell you if the product IDs on the website match the product IDs in the Google Merchant Center
