Some products disable checkout on cart page

Hi all,

I’m boiling my brain in a cart issue. Some products (e.g. Kryptonite Kryptolok Series 2 Mini-7 which has variations, but also a simple Kryptonite Kryptolok Series 2) disappear the whole “Cart totals” section in the shopping cart, including the “Proceed to checkout” button.

In other words, this section of the cart appears and functions normally with most products (this or this or this work ok), but adding some others (let’s call them “section breakers”) makes it disappear.

I believe I first encountered the issue after I started testing the Shipping class functionality, but whatever I did to reverse did not work for those products.

Can anyone please point me towards what went wrong?
