Some products disappear from my pages

    Hello
    I have a very annoying problem with the Link Builder Associates plugin. Some products (with the model ProductAd for example) disappear for no reason from the pages of my site. Sometimes by updating the page, some reappear, but not necessarily. It’s not really professional, since I’m trying to promote Amazon products that are disappearing from my pages. So I have pages that no longer make sense.
    Has this problem ever been encountered and does anyone have an idea?

  • Hi Jpauldulot,

    I face a problem too with the ProductAd too.

    The products don’t disappear but their picture do. I think our problems are related.

    It’s interesting because we are advertising the same kind of products. I have two websites and only one is facing this issue. Maybe we should share our list of plugins to see if we can match and fin the problem? It might be a plugin conflict issue.

    I tried to disable several plugins one by one, but that did not change anything. I tested another theme, it does not work better, but it’s not the same products that are impacted.
    Most products are in tables (TablePress plugin) that I have not deactivated of course. But this is the plugin proposed here: https://amazon-affiliate.eu/fr/creer-tableau-comparaison-with-plugins-free-in-wordpress/. I only used this example.

    “ProductLink” short_code does not return the value after I updated from version 1.5.4 to 1.6.0. How could I fix it?

    I am facing an issue since .

    I mainly use the “Productlink” model on my website and I noticed that the pictures/link/description of the product are not showing anymore.

    Juste a blank space.when i search the product AISN.then the product came to the box and i add short code.but when i preview this.its like just empty/blank

    I didn’t touch anything.

    Dear users,

    Regarding Product Link not working:
    In the shortcode shared above, we can’t see any field named “text”. In general product link shortcodes looks something like the one in below Product Link ad for Echo:
    [amazon_link asin='B06XCM9LJ4' text='echo' template='ProductLink' store='usstore-20' marketplace='US' link_id='xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx']

    Your Product link Ad will not show anything if there is no text field set. This field is added by default on generating shortcode using default Product Link template.

    Dear @jpauldulot,

    The plugin uses Product Advertising API(PA-API) to render the content. The plugin maintains a caching with an expiry time of 30 minutes for every shortcode. But if there are multiple shortcodes on a page or your multiple pages are hit at the same time for which responses is not cached, you might be throttled by PA-API depending upon your allowed request count per second.

    In order to reduce such scenarios, you can place fewer shortcodes in a single post and use multi-product templates like ProductGrid & ProductCarousel that support up to 10 products in one ad.
