    Hello,

    I’m a theme author. I’m preparing to use your plugin for our theme. I have some questions:

    1. How can I import Slider Revolution?

    2. Can I add options which allow user choose things (content, widget, theme options, …) to import?

    3. Can I copy your source code to our plugin? So I can include the import files to our plugin.

    Hi,

    1. please look at this GH issue, for instructions: https://github.com/proteusthemes/one-click-demo-import/issues/93

    2. no, there is no such option, however, you can create different predefined demo imports (Import All, Just content, Just widgets, Just Customizer options,…)

    3. I wouldn’t recommend doing that, but you can do it (we do not offer support for it). You would also have to prefix the classes, no to clash with our plugin and so on…

    the only way is to test it out ??

    If all images exist on the remote server (from where you are importing), I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.

    Hi,

    I don’t have a specific max file size I tested, since I don’t think there would be an issue with bigger files. The import is separated into smaller pieces (with multiple AJAX calls), so it doesn’t really matter, how big the file is.

    Hi,

    you don’t need to do anything. The plugin will import your whole file with multiple AJAX calls.

    It means that if my file is large, plugin will automatically separate my file and import part of it one by one. Is it right?

    Hi,

    no, the file will stay the same size. The plugin will however use multiple AJAX calls to the server, ensuring the import does not timeout (which is the main issue with the default WP importer).
