• Already 2.0.6 works on my site and it is faster than before, but there are some things that I don’t like.
    1. How to translate view selector in calendar? I can’t find this Agenda, Month, Week, Posterboard, Stream, Day in the files of the plugin(they are not in the pot or po files also).
    2. When:, Where:, Cost:, Contact: also can’t find for translating. Where they are?
    3. When I am on single event view and I point my mouse on some event in the widget, in the popup window I see also the information of this single event which is opened in the main window.
    4. When in the bottom of my blog page I have post with featured image this image is shown on the top of widget calendar as much times as events I have in the widget.
For now is this. I realy want to have this plugin workable without problems.

This is very strange. Somebody please let explain me how the templating works in this plugin? I found the file /public/themes-ai1ec/vortex/twig/event-single.twig , I changed these words (when, where …) in my language, updated the file on the server, refreshed the page and nothing, no change. I deleted all folders and files in /cache/twig/ and again refresh of the page – nothing, the same english words are here, /cashe/twig is empty. I changed arranging of the blocks in this same file, updated it on the server and again nothing is changed on the page. Disabling the plugin and activated again, no change. Checked in other brouser and it is the same. How this is posible?

Clearing the cache should be all you need to do to get it to pick up the template.

If you upgraded from 1.x, you may find that old themes are somehow confusing the issue. If you have …../wp-content/themes-ai1ec/ dirs present from an old 1.x setup, you may want to rename that themes-ai1ec out of the way. While they might not be processed unless you have the Legacy Themes add-on installed, probably best to avoid the issue. Ai1ec V2 only uses …../wp-content/themes-ai1ec/ for child themes now.

Note: cache/twig needs to be writable by the webserver user. You can check if the dir is writable by going to Dashboard -> Events -> Settings, and go into the Advanced -> Cache Report tab.

No cefiar, all this was checked before to write here, but now I made it again. Even I opened my website from other computer and there is no change. Cache Repord shows that directory is writable, but cache/twig is empty. Also I don’t have caching plugin or Legacy Themes add-on.

Very weird. Appears as though you may need someone from Time.ly to invesigate.

Basically it appears as though the twig template engine is not actually working, so it’s not producing any output files.

    PS: I don’t work for Time.ly
