    Hello, I have two questions regarding this theme.

    1: Will there be an update to support post formats in the future? I really love this theme, but I also do miss the possibility to add side notes, picture posts, and quote posts. Sorry to be picky, but I would love for this theme to support post formats.

    2: Is it possible to align the sidebar so that it′s on line with the blogposts?

    Best regards
    Orlando

    I′ll also add two more questions regarding this same topic.

    3: When I put pages in a submenu, whenever one of those pages are visited, the submenu background turns black for some reason. I can not find anywhere to change it′s color. This looks really bad designwise, and I would like to fix this.

    4: Is it possible to re-arrange the social icons?
    I want it in this order: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube.

    No matter which way or how I edit them in the customizer, they show up like this:
    Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.

    Again no biggie, but designwise I am a bit picky.

    Once again, I love this theme so much, and thanks for previous good help.

    Best regards
    Orlando

    Hi Orlando,

    I most likely won’t be adding post formats in the future. I planned on it at one point, but when WordPress dropped the UI updates I took as a sign to focus on other features.

    If you can share a link to your site, I can provide some CSS to change the sidebar alignment.

    #3 I can fix too once I check out the site.

    I’m afraid changing the order of the social icons isn’t an option right now, but I can add it to our roadmap for future consideration.

    Hi,

    The website is: https://www.owlando.com

    I put the menus back so that you can have a look at them. I dont like to have them there when it looks like that. But if you find the fault then I′d be happy to.

    It is when you visit one of the sub menu links, then the main link becomes surrounded by dark. Have a look.

    I see now, thank you for sharing that.

    Please add the following CSS to the site to remove the dark background behind the current menu items:

    .menu-primary li.current-menu-item > a, .menu-primary li.current_page_item > a, .menu-primary li.current-menu-ancestor > a {
      background: #fff;
    }

    And this CSS will lift the sidebar up to it aligns with the main content:

    .sidebar-primary {
      margin-top: 0;
    }
