I’m having a weird issue with my blog. I just started it last week and two people have told me that they could barely read the post text because it’s black lettering on wood. For everyone else, they said that could read the blog post just fine because it’s against a white background. The web was designed with a wood background and a narrow white background over the wood so that the text could be read clearly. Why are some people missing the white background over the wood and others are not? I haven’t actually seen this problem as it looks fine to me. Here is my website https://www.morallyspeaking.com/ Tell me what you see and how I can correct this.

    Thank you.

    They’re IE6 users. IE7 and above aren’t a problem.

The theme simply doesn’t support IE6 at all. Plus some of the plugins you’re using cause repeated error dialogue popups in IE6. If your IE6 users are important to you, you may want to consider changing themes and dropping a few of your plugins.

To see for yourself how the site performs in IE6, download the free IETester.

    Great app, i use that to… ??

There’s also a plugin for firefox that allows you to use the IE engine, but it’s not quite as good…

Just showing my support for IETester.. ??

yes but how come the ie8 tab is greyed out for me?

    You don’t have IE8 yet?

I think it can render pages in earlier version but not newer versions where the appropriate engine isn’t installed. I don’t know for sure but I think each new IE engine (thus far) merely builds on the previous one. So older hooks are still in there if you know how to grab them.
