Some settings break my site

  • Hi,

    While I appreciate you making this plugin free, I’m afraid some of the settings break my site to varying degrees.

    1. If I turn on “Optimize JavaScript Code?”, all the page content is intact but the background image I use on every page disappears.

    2. Turning on “Save aggregated script/css as static files?” completely destroys all the formatting of the page and the content becomes one long column.

    I can’t see anything which might solve these issues in the FAQ. Do you have any idea how to fix them, please?

    I’m using Beaver Builder, WP 4.7.5, X Theme.

    ok … let’s see;

    have you for (1) tried excluding some of the JS from optimization? any error on the browser console?

    (2) is more .. exotic. have you checked the page source, does it contain references to autoptimized CSS? do those CSS-files load or do they 404?

    can you share your URL (ideally of a broken environment, a development-site maybe)?

    2. “do those CSS-files load or do they 404?” Sorry, I use WP because I don’t know HTML and I use plugins because I don’t know coding, so I can’t answer that.

    Sorry, but I haven’t been able to leave a broken test page live yet. I will try shortly.
