some settings not sticking and preloaded on install

when uninstalling all options _should_ be removed, but even if for some reason that doesn’t work you still should be able to change them when re-installing. as that does not work, my gut-feeling is that this is an external object-cache being stubborn, maybe (ask you hoster to) clear the redis/ memcached object cache?

Interesting, we are using redis object cache. could that be in conflict? and if yes, maybe I just need to wait for expiry and then reinstall?

I would simply flush the Redis cache, but maybe I’m too impatient ??
