I have never used this plugin before, but there seem to be a number of arguments that do not work. On the page listed above I am using the following shortcode

    [netsposts exclude_blog=”1″ show_author=”true” thumbnail=”true” size=”90,90″ include_link_title=”true”]

author, thumbnail and include_link_title seem to have no effect.

    Using 0.3.7

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Can you please copy your code again from the editor view and when you paste it here could you put in between the back ticks ` so the code will be raw. I’ll look in to it tomorrow. The quotes here in the shortcode have been altered. They should be typed in manually and not copied and paste.

Everything is working fine on my site so I think it’s the quotes.
For example here is a part of your shortcode:
    netsposts exclude_blog=”1″
When it should look like this:
    netsposts exclude_blog="1"

Please delete and re type each one using your keyboard or you may paste the following below:
    [netsposts include_blog="1" show_author="true" thumbnail="true" size="90,90" include_link_title="true"]

    The quotes should be fine.

Interesting. I copied/pasted the code you gave me and it partially fixed it (still no thumbnail), but then I retyped it all from the beginning and it is completely fixed.

    Thanks

I am the type of guy that needs to understand. Exactly what is the cause of the problem?

When you copy and paste things for some reason things get changed. Mainly when it comes to double ” and single ‘ quotes. You may copy them right but when you paste it whatever it’s in to whether WordPress notepad Microsoft word or whatever it changes the style from a generic quote to an open or closed quote. WordPress is made to work with the quote on your keyboard only. So when you copied and pasted some of the quotes got changed again. It’s never wrong to type things in.

I’m going to close this thread as solved.
