Some shortcodes don't work

    I am using the Lifestyle theme and some shortcodes are working but others are not. I can even get some plugins that didn’t come with this theme to work but others simply show up as plain text.

    As far as troubleshooting I have switched to other themes like Twenty Twelve and disabled all plugins. I then turned on the plugin with the shortcodes I’m trying to use and they still don’t work. I also reinstalled wordpress to make sure nothing is corrupt. The plugin I’m trying to work with is Profile Builder but I’ve tried several others without any success (wp-members, BuddyPress, ect.). I’ve also contacted the plugin author for Profile Builder but haven’t had any resolution yet.

    I think I might have to add some php codes to the page template or function.php page but all the codes I’ve tried either crashed the site or did nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    This doesn’t look like a theme issue. Plugin shortcodes should work on any theme. Have you activated the plugins?

    Yes. The plugins I would like to use are activated but still do not work. I’ve uninstalled them and reinstalled them without any luck. I’ve deactivated all plugins and turned them back on one by one without any luck. I’ve even turn all plugins off with just this single plugin activated and it still doesn’t work. That is why I thought this might be a theme issue but I still wasn’t having luck when I would change the theme to twenty twelve. I’ve also reinstalled WordPress just to make sure the core files weren’t corrupt. Any other advice? Thank you!!!
