Some sitemaps are not generated

    Hi there

    some sitemaps are not generated while the option to get them is enabled
    category.xml
    post_tags.xml
    sdm_categories.xml
    sdm_tags.xml

    the sdm_downloads.xml appear to be generated (aka there is a last update date – way past in time) but it is not found; there is no rules or firewall blocking this page
    (for the SDM ones, the SDM plugin is installed and working)
    The posts.xml, pages.xml are working fine

    Hi,
    try to flush your permalinks.
    Clear your cache.
    Make sure you don’t have a redirect somewhere.

    Unfortunately this did not work
    the sitemaps are either still missing or not generated (aka blank)

    I made some tests on my local setup and everything works as expected.
    Can you try to disable/enable Simple Download Monitor, then flush permalinks and check your sitemap?

    Now I have the files created but still have 2 of them empty
    Category and Post_Tag (both related to post, not SDM); the post and page sitemaps are correctly populated and updated

    Make sure you have category and tags in your backend.

    Obviously I have: otherwise I would not have requested support
    And I have even have created one new entry on category and tag (deleted by then) but still nothing
